JMC Aviation are working with a component repair company based in Saffron Walden, looking to recruit a new Commercial Sales Administrator to join their team.
This client specialises in component repairs for a wide range of commercial aircraft from electrical to mechanical and interior to welding. The company offers a warm welcoming environment with a great team environment, aiding their employees in honing their skills providing outstanding customer service.
This is a Permanent Position based in Saffron Walden.
40x hours per week, working days - 08:00-16:30

The Role
To co-ordinate Production of Workshops in order to achieve agreed Safety, Quality and production targets in line with the Companies Global objectives. Plan and maintain systems and procedures for operating efficiency and to communicate effectively up and down the chain with Employees, Team leaders, Managers for optimum performance and maximum productivity. To drive, implement, and show Improvements using real time data and to support employees Growth and training.
Other duties involve:
- Regular liaison with our Aviation Partners to manage, track and progress the maintenance and repair of airline components
- Flag up any supply issues such as shortages or delays and liaise internally with the Purchasing, Planning and Engineering Team Leaders to progress works to agreed deadlines
- Accurately input information into our inhouse database systems (Aerotrack)
- Handle any customer service issues and complete general administrative duties
- Respond to Customer questions.
- Supporting team members with their roles and to provide cover with annual leave (Sales, Estimating, Purchasing)
- Answering incoming/external phone calls
- Ensuring on Company documents are up to date on our website.
Skills and experience required.
In order to be successful in this role the Commercial Sales Administrator will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
- Right to live and work in the UK
- GCSE or equivalent.
- Ideally 2 years' experience in an Aerospace Engineering company.
- Knowledge of planning, monitoring and managing workloads to achieve production targets
- Knowledge of office administrative procedures.
- Proficient in relevant software applications.
