Saffron Walden Golf Club, the top-rated golf course in Essex, is seeking a friendly and motivated Chef. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, enjoy working as part of a team, and also thrive independently. The club features a 120-person clubhouse with a bar and catering facility, known for its outstanding personal service and high-quality cuisine.
What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive, ‘hands-on’ attitude
- Ideally hold a Level 2 Food Safety Certificate
- Works well under pressure
- Good understanding of allergens
What You'll Do:
- Prepare and cook fresh food for daily service and functions
- Maintain high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and safe, adhering to club rules
- Lead by example and ensure adherence to health & safety standards
