Our client is seeking multiple skilled professionals with hands-on experience in soldering, building test jigs, and performing final testing. If you're experienced in these areas, this could be the ideal opportunity for you!
Salary: 30,000 - 40,000
This is a permanent role with multiple vacancies available, offering the chance to work within a dynamic and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential technical support to production and engineering teams.
- Repair and maintain electronic radar systems as part of production and RMA processes.
- Assemble prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies.
- Test and configure radar systems in collaboration with the Test Technician.
- Maintain documentation and adhere to change control processes.
- Design and build prototype test jigs and assemblies.
- Provide drone operator support for trials (training provided).
- Support local field trials and demonstrations, with occasional national and rare international travel.
- Offer off-site support at customer and supplier locations when necessary.
Job Requirements:
- Significant experience working with advanced electrical and electronic devices.
- Strong technical competence with knowledge of standard electrical lab practices and procedures.
- Hands-on skills in building, repairing, and modifying electronic and/or electromechanical equipment.
- RF (Radio Frequency) experience would be ideal but not essential. Familiarity with RF technologies such as antennas, transmitters, receivers, and signal generators is a plus.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- HNC or higher qualification in electronics or electrical engineering.
