If so we've got a job opportunity with a highly successful specialist engineering company based in Saffron Walden as they seek a Mechanical Design Engineer and offer half day finishes at 1pm every single Friday.
Not only that but they have a fully equipped product manufacturing facility where they design and manufacture all products on site for industries such as Aviation, Aerospace and Rail. You will be able to see the products you design come to life in front of your eyes. For the right candidate, there are long-term career growth opportunities, only limited by your passion and ambition.
Applicants will ideally have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Ideally, candidates will come with experience creating CAD designs in Solidworks, an ability to present technical information, passion for engineering and enthusiasm to be based in the office amongst the manufacturing team. Contributes to the product database by creating product datasheets, information leaflets and brochures, generating 3D CAD Models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs and supporting data.
