An Electronic Technician with a broad range of hands-on technical skills enabling the build and fix of electronic and/or electro-mechanical equipment will join the Production Team of a market leading technology company. 30-40k dep on Exp + Benefits. Essex / Cambridge borders.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful Electronic Technician will provide technical support to production and engineering teams, will repair and maintain electronic radar systems, assemble prototype radar systems and sub-assemblies as well as designing test jigs and supporting field trails and demonstrations.

The Electronic Technician should bring:

  • An HNC or better in Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience working on advanced electrical and electronic devices.
  • Practical experience in building, fixing and modifying electronic and/or electromechanical equipment.
  • An awareness of standard electrical lab practices and processes.
  • Good problem solving skills and ability to work to tight timescales.
