Job Title: 1st Line Support Technician

Location: Outskirts of Saffron Walden

Salary: £23,000p.a - £27,000p.a

Contract Type: Permanent, Full time

Benefits: Bonus scheme, (company & personal), pension, employee discount scheme

Hours: Shift based (3 week rotation) - 08:00am - 04:30pm , 09:00am - 05:30pm, 3:30pm - 12:00am (work from home on the late shift)

Due to continuous growth an opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full time 1st Line Support Technician for a company located in Saffron Walden Essex. You will deal with front line enquiries via email, telephone, live chat and Zendesk

As the 1st Line Support Technician you will be responsible for:

  • 1st Line Support for customer enquiries
  • Assisting customers via Live Chat
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries escalating to 2nd Line when required
  • Communicating issues with other teams and logging tasks
  • Troubleshooting basic issues of company platform.

An ideal candidate for the 1st Line Support Technician will have:

  • A strong skill-set covering PC hardware, Windows platform and application support
  • Excellent verbal & written communication
  • Fluency in an additional language (not essential).

Experience using ticketing platforms, software testing and documentation as well as experience using remote access software will be advantageous.
