An exciting opportunity to join an established FM building services company based in a commercial environment on a static basis in Saffron Walden, Cambridgeshire. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber to be based in a commercial building in Saffron Walden, Cambridgeshire. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have proven track record in mechanical plumbing building maintenance. In return the company is offering a competitive salary up to 42,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Repairing Toilets and Sinks
  • Unblocking Toilets
  • Water Treatment
  • Waste Water Treatment
  • Repairing pipework and leaks
  • Minor installation works
  • Flexible in helping other trades on site
  • Planned and reactive works
  • AHU's / FCU's filter changes
  • Boiler & Chiller checks
  • Fire Alarm & Sprinkler Testing
  • Pumps and Motors
Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm (40 hour week)

Requirements

  • City and Guilds in Mechanical Engineer / Plumbing
  • City and Guilds in Water Treatment - Desirable
  • City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold water systems - Desirable
  • Demonstrate previous experience commercial plumbing
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
