A Project Engineer with a range of knowledge encompassing Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Systems and Software Engineering will contribute to the delivery and development of radar and sensor systems. Some travel will be required to customer sites.
Applications are welcome from STEM graduates who have completed a sandwich course or a relevant Internship as well as Engineers with commercial experience within a similar Project Engineer / Systems Engineering role.
Requirements for the Project Engineer include:
- The ability to design, develop and think at system level.
- An appreciation of multiple engineering disciplines (Electronics / Electrical, Software, Mechanical).
- Hands-on experience with a variety of system hardware and software.
- The ability to create system diagrams and documentation.
- Good customer facing skills.
Of particular interest is a Project Engineer with experience working in an aerospace system, sensors, security or ISTAR domain or with previous radar systems experience.
In this Project Engineer role you will get involved with system-level design, architecture and specification of radar systems and installations; working with a range of customers to establish their requirements as well as assisting with development trials and demonstrations and delivering completed solutions.
A driving license is beneficial.
