Sales Order Processor

Location: Nr Saffron WaldenJob Type: Part-time Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 (Full-time equivalent, DOE)Hours: Monday – Friday. Approximate hours 12:30pm – 5pm (start time can be discussed further with the right candidate but 5pm finish)

Overview:We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Sales Order Processor to join our client's busy sales team. This role is ideal for someone with a mature attitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. As part of an internal sales team, you’ll handle a variety of tasks to support smooth order processing and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming calls in a fast-paced sales office
  • Process sales orders received via phone, fax, and email using Sage system
  • Download and process website orders promptly
  • Communicate order updates to customers and provide resolution for any issues
  • Coordinate with couriers to track and progress customer deliveries
  • Provide customers with delivery information and updates
  • After training, offer technical advice on our product range

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in sales or similar office experience
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Attributes: Conscientious and adaptable, able to work independently and as part of a team
