Solution47 is seeking an expereinced Product Developer to join a vilbrant client in the heart of Saffron Walden.This is a great opportunity to work in a creative and proactive team environment. The company currently sells through many well-known brands.
As a product developer you will be responsible for securing product at a competitive rate, identifying and addressing gaps in the product category (price points, product and suppliers / brands working with our competitors) and agreeing the full operational process with supplier. Negotiations will be carried out predominantly over the telephone, with face-to-face meetings where necessary.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent negotiation skills over the phone and face to face, used to negotiating to director level
- Excellent literacy skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask with good time management and organisational skills
- Creative and innovative approach
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Open, friendly and confident communication style
- Working effectively as part of a team plus the ability to work on own initiative and make decisions
