On offer is the exciting opportunity to join a business that provides transport and logistic solutions. No only will you have set, day shift hours but you will also get experience being involved in large-scale infrastructure projects that receive government funding, such as those focused on enhancing the movement of freight and reducing road congestion by shifting more goods transportation to rail and ports.

In this role you will be trained by industry experts, you will be shadowing the transport planning team and joining them on a range of transport and infrastructure projects. You will conduct site visits and transport assessments, aid in highway and infrastructure design, under supervision, and prepare design drawings and calculations using AutoCAD.

The ideal Graduate transport planner will have experience using AutoCAD. You will also have knowledge of transport assessments and industry standard junction modelling packages.

The role

  • Working on a range of transport, highway and infrastructure projects
  • Shadowing transport planning team
  • Using AutoCAD to prepare design drawings and calculations

The person

  • Qualification in Transport Engineering or similar
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Commutable to Saffron Walden
