Bar Manager - £30,000+ tips - live in available - Salcombe Area (Devon)
The role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bar Manager at a prestigious hotel near Salcombe. Live in accommodation is available if needed in this beautiful part of Devon. The successful candidate will be able to make their mark at this fabulous hotel by ensuring the smooth management of the bar and terrace areas.
Reporting directly into the F&B Manager, the Bar Manager will work a 40 hour week, 5/7 days to include some evenings and weekends.
Bar Manager main responsibilities will include:
* Welcome and seat guests in a professional manner
* Set up the bar and keep it stocked and well maintained
* Cellar management
* Assist with menu development including cocktails
* Run shifts, serve customers and be customer focused at all times
* Supervise and train staff to deliver an efficient service
What you need to get the Bar Manager job:
* Previous managerial/assistant Bar Manager experience
* Excellent knowledge of cocktails and other beverages
* Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
* Ability to coach a small team
* MUST HAVE experience in cellar management + stock rotation + ordering
