An Inbound Customer Service Representative is needed to join our team at Venom IT in Cheshire on a full-time basis. 

Based and working within a busy IT office, you are part of a team that's sole aim is to provide a superior experience to internal and external customers alike. We are looking for a talented Customer Service Representative who is looking to join a thriving, forward thinking business with great benefits. 

You will be working within a high-volume, fast-paced environment, dealing with inbound calls providing a first-class service to customers calling in with enquiries and creating customer support tickets. Ideally you will have experience in an office environment / contact centre dealing with inbound calls and working in conjunction with other departments to support and improve the function of the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for any inbound enquiries via telephone.
  • Create new support tickets for customers.
  • Gather information to give accurate updates to customers.
  • Assist the Support Manager to achieve team KPIs based on query response times.

Desirable skills 

  • Knowledge of relevant computer applications such as Microsoft Office 
  • Good typing skills
  • Naturally confident communicator with great people skills
  • Professional telephone manner with strong listening skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks based on their level of importance.
  • Some IT knowledge is desirable but not essential
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Adaptable and highly tolerant

Desirable experience

  • Experience in a fast-paced contact centre is desirable
  • Has proven experience in delivering fantastic customer service, either in an office based or face-to-face environment
