HR - Employee Relations Advisor

South Manchester (Hybrid working)

£35,000 per annum

Our client, an independent not-for-profit organisation, is seeking to appoint experienced ER Advisor to join their team based in South Manchester. This people focused employer, firmly holds their values at the core of everything they do. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team with a hybrid agile working - normally 2 days in the office.

Reporting to the ER Manager, duties will include:

  • Provide expert guidance, coaching, and support to managers within your designated business area.
  • Assist managers in navigating complex employee relations issues.
  • Work as part of a dedicated Employee Relations team.
  • Manage a diverse range of cases, from straightforward to highly complex.
  • Take ownership of your caseload and ensure timely and effective resolution of cases.
  • Provide regular updates on case progress and outcomes to both the team and senior leadership.

Skills and experience required:

  • Solid understanding of employment law.
  • CIPD qualified or possess relevant experience managing high-volume ER cases in a multi-location, diverse organisation.
  • Experience supporting the professional development of individuals/teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to guide managers through formal processes and procedures.
  • Flexible approach to addressing business challenges and creating actionable solutions.
  • Organised, with strong prioritisation skills in a fast-paced environment.
