Information & Cyber Security Manager

Location: South Manchetser, Hybrid WorkingSalary: £60,000 - £70,000, dependent on experience

Are you an experienced Cyber Security professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking an Information & Cyber Security Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Head of Cyber & Data Security in executing our cybersecurity strategies and ensuring the protection of our information assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC) for continuous monitoring and incident detection.
  • Manage security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption.
  • Implement and mature Cyber Security controls to meet evolving threats.
  • Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts.
  • Promote a culture of security awareness across the organisation.
  • Lead Cyber Security testing and manage supplier relationships for security systems.
  • Participate in risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.

Critical Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, etc.).
  • Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Microsoft Azure.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Essential: Professional qualification in Cyber Security (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
  • Desirable: Additional certifications such as CySA+, CEH, CCSP.
