An established and respected law firm in South Manchester is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join their busy and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a highly regarded partner, supporting on a broad range of residential conveyancing transactions.

The Role:

You will play a key supporting role in the conveyancing process, working closely with a partner on a busy caseload of residential property matters. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and drafting legal documents and correspondence
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties to progress transactions
  • Carrying out Land Registry and property searches
  • Managing files from instruction to post-completion
  • Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
  • Ensuring accurate file management and compliance with firm procedures
Ideal Candidate:
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar conveyancing assistant role
  • Confident working within a fast-paced conveyancing team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Proficient in using conveyancing case management systems
  • A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
