Based in South Manchesteron-site, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Our client will also consider job share/part-time. The salary is negotiable depending on the experience and level of clients & projects you have worked with
A private practice working across many sectors, including industrial, health, leisure, education and residential (social and developer) office fit-outs and listed building consultancy.
Key responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have completed a degree, achieved MRICS qualification, and have experience working for aPQS firm.
- Experienced gained in:
- Feasibility studies
- Schedule of works
- Cost estimates
- Valuations
- JCT and NEC Contracts
- Production of tender documents
- Experience of running a variety of projects <£1million to multi millon pound projects is essential
Essential skills:
5 years pre and post QS contract experience
Previous consultancy experience
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the project team and clients
Responsible and able to work in a team and autonomously
Desirable:
Currently working in a senior role or associate level looking for advancement
Employers Agent experience
Diverse sector experience
Degree in Quantity Surverying
Experience of JCT contracts
Knowledge of MS project
Knowledge of QS software ie Vector and Bluebeam
