We are seeking a experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team based just outside of manchester city centre in Sale. You will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating, team-driven environment that values customer-focused service and innovative solutions. The role involves working across various sectors of the construction industry, including industrial, leisure, health, education, residential, office fit-out, and conservation projects.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to:

  • Conduct feasibility studies, cost estimates, schedules of works, and bills of quantities.
  • Handle JCT and NEC contracts, valuations, and final accounts.
  • Manage risk and value management processes.
  • Prepare tender documentation, assess, and report on tender returns.
  • Run both small-scale (<1m) and large-scale multi-million-pound projects.
  • Work concurrently on multiple projects, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Understand and implement health and safety regulations and CDM.
  • Develop and maintain a strong reputation through business development opportunities.
  • Ensure quality and timely service delivery, acting as the primary contact to build client confidence.
  • Travel to sites within the South West and occasionally further within the UK.

Qualifications and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • MRICS qualification.
  • Proven experience working for a professional quantity surveying (PQS) firm.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a variety of projects, both small and large scale.
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
