Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyors either Middle or Senior level to join there expanding team.£45,000 - £70,000 Depending on Experience
The Role
Based in South Manchesteron-site, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
The salary is negotiable depending on the experience and level of clients & projects you have worked with
Our client is a private practice working across many sectors, including industrial, health, leisure, education and residential (social and developer) office fit-outs and listed building consultancy. This is a great opportunity if you are looking to join a team and grow.
Key responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have completed a degree, achieved MRICS qualification, and have experience working for a PQS firm.
- Experienced gained in:
- Feasibility studies
- Schedule of works
- Cost estimates
- Valuations
- JCT and NEC Contracts
- Production of tender documents
- Experience of running a variety of projects <£1million to multi millon pound projects is essential
Essential skills:
- 5 years pre and post QS contract experience
- Previous consultancy experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the project team and clients
- Responsible and able to work in a team and autonomously
Desirable:
- Employer agent experience
- Diverse sector experience
- Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Experience of JCT contracts
- Knowledge of MS project
- Knowledge of QS software ie Vector and Bluebeam
