Our client, a global manufacturer and supplier of storage, handling, and distribution equipment, is looking for a Part-Time Finance Assistant to join their team in Sale, Cheshire. This role focuses on credit control but would suit someone with all-round transactional finance experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Debtors Ledgers, ensuring prompt payments and minimising bad debt
- Allocate daily cash receipts across multiple accounts and ledgers
- Chase aged debts via phone and email
- Organise sales ledger data in Excel to create a prioritised debt-chasing schedule
- Handle customer queries and disputes efficiently
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in credit control and sales ledger management
- Proficiency in Excel for data handling
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Knowledge of how credit control impacts cash flow and customer relationships
