English Teacher - Trafford - Full time - Summer term Prospero Teaching are seeking a qualified, passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher to work at a popular, high achieving secondary school in Trafford to join them on a full time basis for the Summer term. The role will be from after the Easter break until the end of the current academic year. This role is a full time position and is open to ECTs as well as more experienced teachers of English. The successful candidate will need to fully immerse themselves immediately in the school and department and assist in planing and preparing lessons, attend departmental meetings & parents evenings when necessary. You will also need to be able to provide exceptional support to students, demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location Trafford Position English Teacher Start date April 2025 End date - July 2025 Full time Minimum rate of pay GBP162.31 Hours 8:15AM 4PM EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent Previous experience working in a UK school Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, however training can be provided) Up to date prevent awareness& FGM training issued in the last 3 years (essential, however, training can be provided) Up to date behaviour management training (essential, however, training can be provided) English Teaching experience in a UK school is desirable TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to obtain a new one Provide two professional references If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV today.
