Management Accountant
Based: Salford, Manchester
Salary: up to £45k dependent on experience + study + benefits
Our client is a market leading, rapidly expanding business in the Salford area. Having experienced a period of change over the last 12 months and doubling turnover in the last 5 years, the business plan to continue their growth to double turnover once again in the next 3-5 years and require a Management Accountant to join them in a newly created role. This will report directly into the FD, an experienced mentor who is passionate about your training, development and progression to become a fully qualified Accountant
Experience:
- Producing monthly management accounts - posting month end journals
- Overseeing site P&L, balance sheet & cash flow forecasts
- Providing accurate and timely financial information on margin & variance analysis
- Assisting in preparation of budgets and forecasts in line with company goals
- Variance analysis - performance against budget, identifying variances and providing actionable insights to team to improve
- Analysing manufacturing costs, working with stakeholders, regularly highlighting any issues
- Continuous improvement to improve processes/procedures, offering ideas
- Working with departments outside of finance including operations, manufacturing, supply chain
Experience:
- CIMA/ACCA part-qualified/finalist
- Manufacturing experience is highly desirable
- Keen to develop and learn with a view to progress in future and become fully qualified in a potential Finance Manager role
