Our client is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant is to assist in all areas of the accounting function primarily purchase and sales ledger day to day transactional work.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Setting up sales and purchase ledger accounts
  • Sales invoicing
  • Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders (all electronic) then processing invoices
  • Processing credit card payments from clients
  • Checking and reconciling supplier statements
  • Filing invoices and statements
  • Dealing with purchase and sales enquiries
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Processing fuel card statements
  • Opening post daily
  • Processing weekly timesheets

REPORTING TO: Finance Manager

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Proven experience of working in a finance environment.
  • Service delivery focused.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to continuously prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
