Then look no further, the Motor team are looking for a Litigation Executive to join our Manchester office!

What will you be doing?

This is a great opportunity for a Litigation Executive who is looking to build upon their litigation experience, as you will be dealing with mainly litigated small claims/fast track case load and will assist other Litigation Executive as and when require with an average case load of 100 file, so having previous litigation experience dealing with claim handling a litigated caseload preferable a defendant case load is desired.

Some of the responsibilities you will be required to carry out are drafting documents, applications, offers, orders and directions, attending telephone conferences and managing cases in line with SLAs. Reviewing quantum, valuing general and special damages and formalising case plans as well as entering into telephone negotiations, liaising with third party solicitors and insurers, own insurer clients and lay clients.

What do I need?

Ideally, you will have experience handling a defendant litigated caseload but, we are also open to speaking with individuals who have litigation experience with the eagerness to learn and develop in the Motor and Casualty field of work. Alternatively, you will have completed a law degree/GDL/LPC or equivalent qualifications.

You will need to bring an enthusiastic and self-motivated attitude with a desire to achieve and exceed targets combined with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ability to demonstrate initiative and creative problem solving is desirable.
