Reed are proud to be working with specialist training and consultancy business supplying businesses across the UK with CPD accredited training.

We are seeking a Senior Sales Executive to join the team at their new site in Salford. This new site is an expansion project for the business, so you’ll be one of the first hires in the Manchester area.

As you’ll be a first integral hire, we’re searching for a savvy salesperson/account manager, but also someone who’s strong at the day-to-day coordination to support the client booking process.

This role also involves overseeing the maintenance of our office and training centre to high standards and proactively seeking new sales opportunities.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Use the CRM to efficiently deploy training staff to bookings and process customer bookings.
  • Ensure all staff have accurate and detailed information of customer requirements, including addresses, dates, and times.
  • Send weekly email reminders to customers for the upcoming week and use intelligence to remind customers.
  • Spend at least one day per week actively visiting new potential customers, using intelligence gained from Directors and other sources.
  • Update the CRM with learner registers, produce, and email learner certificates to customers.
  • Utilise the proven sales circular cycle model (Ring, Email, Visit, Email, Ring) and record all activity on the CRM.
  • Update the marketing service one month in advance of “National Days/Weeks” and send a monthly schedule of required social media articles.
  • Gather feedback following training, update the CRM, and discuss future training requirements.
  • Ensure the training centre and public areas are clean and tidy, and refreshments are stocked, especially when bookings are taking place in the centre.
  • Work under the direction of the Directors on new opportunities and services provided by the organisation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a sales management role.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems to manage sales processes and customer interactions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the training or education sector is advantageous.
