Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Credit Control team, driving motivation, engagement, and high performance.
Own monthly cash collection targets and quarterly debt reduction goals.
Conduct 1-to-1 meetings and annual appraisals to develop and nurture team talent.
Provide coaching and mentoring to enhance team skills and performance.
Step in for the Head of Credit, providing leadership and key reports.
Manage complex accounts to ensure timely payments.
Oversee the credit collection process, ensuring adherence to procedures and consistency.
Drive KPI achievement across the team, both individually and collectively.
Approve credit applications and review existing credit limits using credit-checking procedures.
Work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve queries efficiently.
Support day-to-day team operations alongside the Head of Credit Control.
Take on additional tasks to support team and departmental objectives.

Ideal Candidate:

Proficient: Advanced Excel skills; experience with Sage Line 200, Cash4Windows, or Credit Hound is a plus.
