Our client is looking for experienced Collections Agents who have worked in collections and/or arrears. You will be supporting a major UK bank's customers, who have fallen into debt and arrears on financial products such as mortgages, loans, and credit cards.
Location: Working from homeRate: £162 per day (Through an Umbrella Company)Work Pattern: 5 shifts a week- 8 hours per shift. Monday - Friday, between 8am to 8pm, Saturday - 9am to 5pm (typical shift pattern includes 1 Saturday in 3 and 2 late shifts per week)Start Dates: May 2025Current end date: July 2026 (with scope for extension)
Job Description:
- Taking inbound calls as a representative of the bank.
- Supporting vulnerable and non-vulnerable customers by identifying appropriate solutions to their debt/arrears.
- Identifying vulnerable customers and offering suitable solutions.
- Understanding complex financial packages.
- Completing income and expenditure forms.
- Communicating solutions via telephone.
- Meeting quality targets.
- Escalating necessary issues to supervisors.
Required Experience:
- Several years of call centre experience in financial services (essential).
- Experience of working with customer debt management or insolvency (essential).
- Knowledge of FCA guidelines is ideal.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Experience of working with vulnerable customers.
This is a work from home opportunity, the client will be providing the required equipment. IMPORTANT: You must have adequate space to work from home and receive calls throughout the working day. You must also work nearby your router to connect via Ethernet cable.
