We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support the learning and development of students across two primary schools in Salford, working within the same supportive trust. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children and contribute to their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support class teachers in delivering lessons and activities to groups or individual students.
  • Assist in the planning, preparation, and organisation of learning materials and resources.
  • Provide targeted support for children with specific learning needs and assist with their inclusion in mainstream lessons.
  • Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment, helping to encourage student participation and confidence.
  • Work closely with teachers to track student progress and assist in assessments where appropriate.
  • Promote the well-being and development of students in both academic and social areas.
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with students, staff, and parents.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting (although not essential).
  • Be patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic about supporting children’s learning.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be able to work as part of a team.
  • Be proactive and flexible, with the ability to work across two schools within the same trust.
  • Hold relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent) – desirable but not essential.
