I am currently working with a Housing Association based in Manchester, looking for a Repairs Surveyor
Our client is looking to grow their Repairs and Maintenance team, therefore they are seeking a candidate who will play a crucial role in assessing and identifying various property related issues, focussing primarily on repair cases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed property inspections to identify repair issues, documenting findings accurately and thoroughly.
- Ensure all remedial works are completed in line with health and safety requirements.
- Completing pre and post inspections of responsive and void repairs.
- Stay up to date with relevant legislation and regulations, ensuring compliance and adherence to industry standards.
- Supervising contractors and ensuring quality of work and response times meet the required standards and SLAs.
- Attend mould, damp and condensation inspections and provide detailed reports
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years property inspection experience.
- Ability to work independently, manage workload efficiently, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of current building and housing legislation
- Full UK Driving License.
