We are recruiting for a Sales & Commercial Manager on behalf of an industry-leading energy management specialist providing expert services in procurement, bill validation, tenant re-charging, and energy reduction solutions. Working across both public and private sectors, the company helps organisations optimise their energy consumption and achieve efficiency goals.

The Role:

As a Sales & Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive business growth. You will lead sales and business development efforts, manage key client relationships, and oversee commercial contracts and financial performance. Your leadership skills and industry expertise will play a crucial role in maximising profitability and securing long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Sales & Commercial Manager will develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead and manage sales teams to achieve revenue targets and business growth (team of 3)
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring favourable terms and compliance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement corrective actions where necessary.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to commercial teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Represent the company at industry events and enhance brand reputation.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • No essential qualifications however any sales, business or finance related qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Proven experience in a Sales & Commercial management role within energy management, communal energy, or building services.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills.
  • Ability to analyse market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong financial and contractual acumen.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
