Location: Office based in Salford
Salary: £30,000 £35,000 per annum + 10% Annual Bonus + Additional Benefits

About the Company:
We are recruiting for a Billing Manager on behalf of a leading energy management specialist providing procurement, bill validation, tenant re-billing, and energy reduction solutions. The company supports clients across both public and private sectors, ensuring efficient and accurate energy management services.
The Role:
As a Billing Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient billing operations. You will be responsible for processing high volumes of invoices, managing meter readings, and ensuring data accuracy. Additionally, as a Billing Manager you will collaborate with both internal teams and external clients to resolve discrepancies and improve billing processes.
Billing Manager - Key Responsibilities:
- Download, validate, and upload meter readings to the billing platform.
- Generate accurate energy bills based on individual consumption data.
- Perform data analysis on energy usage, cost trends, and billing discrepancies.
- Identify and correct errors, ensuring accuracy in all billing processes.
- Manage and develop key relationships with internal teams and external customers.
- Work within corporate and industry standards to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate on IT system rollouts and improvements in billing efficiencies.
- Provide insights and suggestions for process improvements.
Billing Manager - Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience in a billing or financial management role, preferably within energy management, communal energy, or building services.
- Exceptional Excel skills (including V-Lookups, pivot tables, and data manipulation).
- Experience managing high volumes of monthly invoices.
- Knowledge of Xero, Sage, and CRM systems (desirable but not essential).
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Experience working in both B2B and B2C environments.
