Please let me know your hourly rate expectations.Job Type: Full-timeHours: 36 per weekJoin our finance division as a Strategic Finance Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategies and systems. This position sits within the accountancy group and involves leading both management and corporate accountancy teams. You will be instrumental in overseeing financial planning and monitoring, supporting corporate financial strategies, and preparing crucial financial information.Day-to-Day of the Role:-          Lead and oversee revenue and capital accountancy for assigned services, ensuring effective coordination and achievement of objectives.-          Develop and maintain strong relationships with finance colleagues, service management teams, and other stakeholders, using your diplomacy and interpersonal skills to influence service decisions.-          Implement robust financial planning and monitoring systems and procedures.-          Support the development of corporate financial strategies, including budgeting processes.-          Prepare, interpret, and present financial information, including grants and corporate returns, to inform decision-making at senior levels.-          Lead, support, advise, and supervise your team, ensuring high standards and deadlines are met.Required Skills & Qualifications:-          Demonstrable leadership values and behaviours with strong technical skills.-          Proven track record in delivering outcomes and an understanding of relevant legislation and local government accountancy practices.-          Professional credibility gained through relevant experience.-          Proficiency in digital tools such as SAP and Microsoft Office products.-          Experience in managing and developing service strategies.-          Proven managerial experience, initially supervising a team of three, expanding in the future.-          Strong relationship management skills, capable of handling service delivery, dispute resolution, and service continuity.-          Flexibility to adapt to a generic approach in providing finance services to customers.
