Eventus Recruitment are seeking a dedicated IFA Assistant to join a Financial Planning firm in Salford, Greater Manchester. Role Responsibilities

The IFA Assistant will support consultants in delivering an outstanding client journey, ensuring clients feel supported at every stage of their investment or financial advice journey. This would be a great opportunity for an existing IFA Assistant who is looking to gain exposure to Report Writing. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Writing reports and handling business processing and packaging.
  • Providing 1-to-1 (or 1-to-2) support for consultants.
  • Building relationships with consultants’ clients and keeping them updated on progress.
  • Taking overall responsibility for all client work from initial appointment to annual review.
  • Generating tax information for consultant review.
  • Managing letters of authority, withdrawals, valuations, and general queries.
  • Attending weekly meetings with the Client Relationship Team (CRT) to address issues or concerns.
  • Maintaining knowledge of the Centralised Investment Proposition.
  • Updating and maintaining client records on the Intelligent Office (IO) system.
  • Collaborating with the administrative team to ensure effective support.

Person Specification

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused financial planning environment. The following skills and attributes are sought after from the incoming IFA Assistant:

  • Experience using standard office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience providing administrative support in a busy office environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including legal representatives.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex information.
  • Self-motivation, drive, and enthusiasm.
  • Professional attitude and commitment to client care.
