Location: Salford, Manchester

Job Type: Full Time (Mon-Fri) - Hybrid Working

Salary: Up to 30,000 (DOE)

From You:

  • Previous experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with logistics software is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate international shipments and ensure timely delivery across air, sea, and land transport modes.
  • Prepare and process necessary documentation including bills of lading, import/export declarations, and customs paperwork.
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and third-party vendors to manage the flow of goods.
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing customers with updates and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all import/export regulations, including customs laws and safety standards.
  • Manage and update shipment schedules, optimize routes, and recommend cost-effective shipping solutions.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service throughout the shipping process.
