Carpentry and Joinery Tutor
Location: ManchesterPosition: Full-Time, PermanentSalary:  £30,000 - £40,000 Per Annum
Are you passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives?
We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent Carpentry and Joinery Tutor in the Ashton-Under-Lyne area. As a teacher in this field, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with the next generation of Joiners/Carpenters. You will work with industry professionals to provide an overview of the opportunities for employment to develop their aspirations.
Day-to-day role:
- To monitor and manage learner attendance and maintain appropriate standards of behaviour.
- To develop best practice in learning, teaching and assessment ensuring standardisation and continuity.
- Monitoring & Assessing learner progress.
- Championing our commitment to putting students first.
Required skills and Qualifications:
- Cert Ed/ PGCE or relevant training or teaching qualification.
- English and Maths at least level 2.
- Knowledge of current relevant initiatives within FE, resource management and the vocational area of responsibility.
