A thriving boutique firm in Manchester is seeking a highly motivated Clinical Negligence Paralegal to join their team. In this role you will provide crucial support to a Partner in handling high-value clinical negligence claims, assisting throughout the process to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service and results.
As a Clinical Negligence Paralegal, you will:
- Assist in managing a caseload of high-value clinical negligence claims, working closely with senior members of the team.
- Conduct legal research, gather and review evidence, and assist in drafting documents including letters, pleadings and court forms.
- Communicate with clients, experts, medical professionals and other stakeholders to obtain information and updates.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of claims to relevant bodies.
- Review medical records, prepare summaries and support the litigation process.
- Maintain case files, ensuring all deadlines and legal requirements are met.
Skills and experience required:
- A background in clinical negligence claims.
- Strong academic qualifications, ideally with a degree in law.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to client care.
