Graduate General Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools in Salford

About the Role:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Graduate General Cover Supervisors to join our team and work in secondary schools across Salford. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining the continuity of education when teachers are absent. You'll be responsible for supervising students during lessons, ensuring they stay on track with their work, and helping to create a positive and productive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise students in the absence of their regular classroom teacher
- Ensure students follow the work set by the teacher and manage the classroom effectively
- Support students with their learning and ensure a positive classroom atmosphere
- Report any issues or concerns to the relevant staff
- Promote positive behavior and help to resolve any conflicts or disruptions
- Maintain accurate records of work and student progress when required

What We're Looking For:

- A recent graduate with a degree in any subject
- A passion for working with young people and helping them reach their full potential
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- The ability to manage a classroom and encourage a positive learning environment
- Flexibility and a proactive attitude
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is desirable, but not essential
