• Provide day-to-day support for pupils within a SEMH class, catering to their individual abilities and needs..• Lead small-group activities and interventions to reinforce learning objectives and promote engagement.• Provide PPA cover for the class teacher, delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) within a SEN setting, particularly with SEMH pupils, is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of SEMH and strategies for supporting pupils with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a proactive approach to meeting the diverse needs of pupils.
- Registration required through Milk Education before an immediate start.
