Ylem- a Leading independent energy specialist- is looking to find an experienced H&S Manager to join its expanding team, based at its Salford headquarters. As the H&S Manager, you will support all employees across Ylem and be responsible for promoting a positive H&S culture through strong leadership, high levels of engagement and best practices.

Description
The H&S Manager needs to have a direct hands-on approach in the day to day, and be confident in delivering training and implementing safety requirements across multiple sites/projects.
Detailed Responsibilities:
路 You will ensure legal compliance for health and safety in the workplace by conducting regular audits and inspections
路 You will lead in training and development with new and existing members of staff
路 At all times, you must promote our proactive "Zero Harm" culture across departments
路 Responsible for ensuring incident investigations are conducted promptly, including root cause analysis and corrective action is undertaken
路 Creation, implementation and review of Risk Assessments, safe working procedures and method statements
路 Delivery of the company Health and Safety strategy and initiation for the site/s
路 Review all existing company Health & Safety documentation and update accordingly in line with our statutory obligations including CDM Regulations
路 Ensure that all "assessments" as required by legislation are conducted and reviewed at relevant intervals
路 Visit each Project site and during that visit, you will conduct regular health and safety inspections/audits and prepare detailed H&S audit reports
路 Review of all RAMS and COSHH assessments and update where necessary
路 You will carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and record the findings on the relevant forms
Profile
A successful candidate will have:
路 Demonstrable experience within a project development, construction and operational environment
路 A clear understanding and experience of design phase risk assessment and HAZOP
路 Experience of interacting with sub suppliers and contractors and ensuring their compliance with H&S requirements of Ylem Energy as Client, Main Contractor
路 Their NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
路 Strong communication skills
路 Demonstrable experience, skills and qualifications related to H&S requirements associated with an electrical high voltage environment
Job Offer
Salary is negotiable - 拢48k - 拢55k plus car allowance (拢5.7k)
