Divisional Director of Operations (Medicine & Urgent Care) | NHS | £500 - £550pd | 3 months | North West

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with an NHS Trust in the North West o recruit an interim Divisional Director of Operations (Medicine & Urgent Care)

This position would suit an individual with a track record in Operational Mangement for the Medicine and Urgent Care Division. Please note NHS expeirence is essental. 

Summary:

  • The Divisional Director of Operations will be responsible for supporting the COO in directing, guiding and leading the identified specialities in the overall management of the Division. Ensure the delivery of established performance management frameworks for all key performance indicators, business and financial activity targets.

Role:

  • Ensure that all specialities meet waiting list and waiting times National standards within UEC, ensuring identification of action plans, identification and mitigation of risks and oversight of trajectories for improvement with particualry focus on ED
  • Take the lead role in ensuring that all Managers and Clinical Leads are aware of the specific standards/targets they are responsible for delivering and provide support to each manager to ensure delivery of them
  • Oversee and interpret the performance targets of specialties and develop strategies to address issues as they arise
  • Provide leadership, direction and development to ensure that the skills and capabilities of the Group are effectively utilised to maximise potential of individuals
  • Support the Clinical Director in the delivery of innovative, high-quality cost-effective services in accordance with national and local priorities for healthcare

Individual:

  • NHS expeirence (essential)
  • Degree educated (or equivelient)
  • Medicine and UEC division experience
  • Abillity to work on site 5 days per week
