We're looking for a General Manager to join the team atCopthorne Hotel Manchester
As a General Manager you will be working hand in hand with the Cluster General Manager and will oversee day-to-day running of the hotel by maximising financial returns, driving development of people, creating and maintaining a unique guest experience, executing brand standards, and building awareness of hotel and brand in the local community.
The responsibilities of the General Manager will include:
- Achieving budgeted targets and consistently deliver Brand and Company standards.
- Ensuring all employees display a professional, positive attitude, increase customer satisfaction levels and surpass customer expectations.
- Oversee the day to day operation of the Hotel ensuring strict compliance with agreed standards, policies and procedures.
- Developing, implementing and evaluating the agreed department goals and KPIs to support the business meet its strategic targets.
- To ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by creating and implementing agreed department standards to achieve increased customer loyalty and retention, external recognition and business growth.
- Lead and create a team environment which promotes good employee morale and ensures a high level of commitment and pride in the Hotel.
- Ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures by all members of staff.
- Proactively manage resources to increase sales and profit levels and reduce operating costs, whilst adhering to agreed standards.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An already exceptional track record driving business in a similar role within a full-service hotel
- Experience working in a branded hotel
- A strong commercial acumen.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate across of levels
