Aspire People are looking for a dedicated and resilient Unqualified Teacher to join an alternative provision in Salford.Key Responsibilities:Support the learning and development of students with complex SEMH needs in a tailored, nurturing environment.Implement effective behaviour management strategies to engage students and maintain a positive learning atmosphere.Build strong, supportive relationships with students from diverse backgrounds, fostering trust and mutual respect.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualised learning plans that promote both academic and emotional growth.Provide 1:1 and group support, helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.Requirements:UK Degree 2:2 or above - ideally in Psychology, though any subject will be considered.Experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs, ideally within an educational setting.Confident and empathetic approach, able to understand and support the emotional needs of students.Firm but fair approach to behaviour management, maintaining a calm and professional demeanour in challenging situations.Ability to build strong relationships with students, promoting trust, respect, and inclusivity.Resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to helping students with complex needs succeed.All candidates who register with Aspire People will have 2 years referencing taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and must be on the update service.We also offer a referral bonus of up to £250 for recommendations of candidates suitable for any of the roles we are recruiting for.This role is ideal for a resilient aspiring teacher looking to make a real impact on students that are unable to attend their mainstream provisions.
