Desktop Support Analyst
Salary:£35,000 - £45,000 + Bonus + Private Medical + 9% Pension Contribution
Location: Manchester
My client is a rapidly growing international organisation offering a range of solutions to the global Professional Services sector. Although exceptionally successful to-date, they continue to seek stretching organic growth with an overarching target to double revenues. Underpinning this strategy is a focus on being a 'smart user’ of tech adopting both build and buy strategies.
You will be part of a high calibre team responsible for providing 1st Line & 2nd Line support to colleagues in their Manchester office, as well as remotely to other UK sites and internationally including Hong Kong and the US.
The Role
- Troubleshooting end user devices for internal staff.
- Induction and training of new hires into the business.
- Providing application and technical support to end users.
- Training of end users where required.
- Developing and documenting new procedures.
- Assist with testing, maintaining and improvement of network connectivity.
- Involved in change projects across the business.
- Learning innovative technologies as the business grows.
- Providing out of hours support where required by the business.
The Person
- Ideally at least 3-4 years’ experience in a similar support role.
- Exposure to the Microsoft suite (Azure, 365, SharePoint, OneDrive etc.).
- Ideally experience of working in a Professional Services environment.
- 'Can-do’ positive attitude - someone who is capable of working across a range of different tasks as you will have exposure to lots of queries/tasks.
- Must be able to commit to 5 days per week in their Manchester office, able to travel to their North East site circa once per month and willing to provide evening and weekend on-call 1 out of every 5 weeks.
