Location: Salford (Hybrid working - site presence required)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Service Continuity Manager to join a leading organisation based in Salford on an initial 3-month contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing IT service continuity frameworks, executing recovery plans, and ensuring alignment with risk and business continuity strategies. You'll work closely with internal teams, technical stakeholders, and external service providers to drive IT resilience across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and review ITSC and risk documentation regularly
  • Develop and lead annual IT continuity testing and exercise plans
  • Coordinate service recovery assurance with third-party suppliers
  • Identify and govern ITSC-related risks and ensure visibility of risk landscape
  • Support major incident and problem management functions
  • Ensure successful handover of continuity plans across new project deliveries
  • Collaborate with risk managers and service delivery teams
  • Produce comprehensive continuity reports and maintain plan documentation
  • Provide supplier governance and assurance against contracted obligations
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT Service Continuity Management
  • ITIL certified (v3 or v4)
  • Sound understanding of risk management principles and industry standards
  • Experience in disaster recovery planning and continuity testing
  • Strong stakeholder and supplier management experience
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO22301, ISO27001, and ISO31000
  • Proficient in ServiceNow and related ITSM tools
  • BCI (AMBCI level) or equivalent accreditation preferred
