- Providing expert legal advice to clients while maintaining clear and professional communication.
- Handling a full range of property transactions from instruction through to completion.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Addressing complex legal queries, conducting thorough research, and mitigating risks.
- Managing caseloads efficiently, meeting personal targets, and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) rules.
- Accurately managing financial aspects, including billing and fund transfers upon completion.
- Liaising proactively with solicitors, mortgage lenders, brokers, and local authorities.
- Supervising and mentoring paralegals, fostering a high-performance team environment.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, introducers, and third parties.
- Utilising conveyancing technology to enhance efficiency and client service.
- Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Minimum of 3+ years' experience handling a varied caseload of property transactions.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in research and document drafting.
- Strong knowledge of property law and experience dealing with complex titles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to legal matters.
- A team player who is self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high standards.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of industry developments.
- Experience with case management systems such as ProClaim or Redbrick is advantageous.
- Familiarity with investor purchases and portfolio mortgages, particularly where lenders are separately represented.
