We are looking to hear from individuals who are based near to our Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Southampton or London office's.

What will you be doing?

You will be not only working independently but as part of a successful Outsourced Solutions team. Our Outsourced Solutions Team handle Insurance claims on behalf of some of the biggest Insurers in the Market. Experience of working within a Claims Department is critical to this role as we act for Insurers to lead the way in Customer Service and Cost Management. As you will have experience of handling a caseload/ worked in the insurance industry you will be ready to handle your own caseload of delegated Motor files. You will be confident reviewing quantum, valuing general and special damages and finalising case plans, including providing next steps advice.

You will refer cases for supervision and guidance to ensure the correct procedure and process is following and escalating when appropriate. Effectively run each case ensuring all are dealt with in compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and Law Society Practice Management Standards.

You will regularly handle telephone negotiations, liaise with third party solicitors and insurers, own insurer clients and lay clients’ whilst recording the outcome of those approaches.

What do I need?

Motor experience is essential to this role. You will need to have completed a law degree, or have a minimum of 12 months experience in a claim handling role, handling preferably a defendant or insurer caseload. You will also have experience within bodily injury matters, with ideally experience using MOJ and OIC Portal's.
