- We are seeking an experienced maintenance mechanical engineer for a prestigious commercial facility in Manchester.
- The position requires a recognized professional engineering qualification with a mechanical bias and proven building maintenance experience in a commercial environment.
- The salary for this permanent role is approximately £39,900, with overtime available on off-shift.
- Candidates should have experience with HVAC systems, including AHUs and fan coils, and be willing to complete general building services maintenance.
- The shift pattern includes two days on, two nights on, and four days off, working from 7am to 7pm or 7pm to 7am.
The role is a permanent permanent position - Salary circa 39.9k
Overtime available on off-shift
Shift pattern - x2 ON Days, x2 ON Nights, x4 OFF
7am-7pm/7pm-7am
Duties & Responsibilities
To undertake planned and reactive maintenance tasks on HVAC and mechanical plant
To cover all maintenance of boiler room, venting, AHU, fan coil, pumps, valves and commercial plumbing
To complete PPMs in line with SLA and KPI agreements
To respond to Helpdesk requests, providing a professional and timely service
To support the other members of the maintenance team with ad-hoc tasks across all disciplines
Skills & Background Required
Recognised professional engineering qualification, Mechanical bias
Willing to complete general building services and plant maintenance
Experience of plant such as AHU, fan coils etc.
Proven building maintenance experience within a commercial environment
Must be presentable and reliable
Willing to complete shifts
