An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer at a fantastic college in the Greater Manchester area. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about coaching and assessing full-time students and apprentices in the field of mechanical engineering. The successful candidate will be instrumental in preparing learners for a wide range of careers and/or higher education, meeting the latest industry standards. 

Day-to-day role:

  • To take part and comply with all quality assurance procedures and systems within the area of responsibility.
  • Create and update teaching materials, lesson plans, and practical exercises that align with industry standards and curriculum requirements.
  • Responsible for planning and delivering exceptional teaching, learning, and assessment in accordance with college standards and awarding body expectations.

Required skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in mechanical engineering.
  • English and Maths GCSE grade C/4 or a Functional Skills Qualification at Level 2, and at least Level 3 qualifications in a relevant subject area.
  • Teaching or Assessing qualification.
  • Commitment to delivering the highest quality of teaching, learning, and assessment.
