MEP Project Lead

Are you a building services engineer looking for that next step into a leadership position? Or are you an established lead engineer with hands on design skills looking to work on some of Manchester’s leading projects?

An established MEP contracting business are looking for a Project Lead to help continue their structured development.

The right candidate will be used to leading multi-million pound design projects from conception to handover from either a consultants or contractor prospective.

The Role
• Validating and conducting site surveys and meetings depending on the project
• Leading a team of engineers on a range of commercial projects primarily mixed used Residential developments and office space
• Liaising with clients, architects, sub-contracting consultants, ensuring accurate designs are produced
• In depth knowledge of Building services Design and CIBSE regulations
• Ensure high quality service is delivered to clients
• Keeping on top of commercial changes within the industry

Expectations
• minimum 5 years running own projects in a senior/principal level role
• Degree in an electrical/mechanical/building services related subject
• Ability to run projects independently as well as part of a group
• Experience of leading and conducting design meetings
• Seeing opportunities to develop business as they arise
• Chartered status (desirable)
