The Company

Based within a very successful and well-established service organisation supporting a wide variety of client end users our client is looking to recruit a service engineer to complement their existing service team.

Key Skills

  • Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience of Pump pressurisation systems and booster sets
  • Service knowledge and experience

The Role

In this role your key responsibilities will include:

  • Understand and adhere to all aspects of Health and Safety, Risk Assessments and Method Statements
  • Maintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information)
  • Carrying out site surveys and providing relevant information to the office
  • Perform Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Perform fault finding and repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Assist with on-site installation of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork
  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary
  • Provide accurate information to the relevant department or Manager
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues

Essential qualifications, experience and skills required:

  • Knowledge of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Servicing and Commissioning of pumps and pressurised systems
  • Fault finding and minor repairs of pumps and pressurised systems
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Organised and self-motivated
  • Attention to detail
  • Customer focused
  • A pleasant and friendly 'can do’ attitude
  • Health and Safety training required for the role
  • Good time keeping
  • Be flexible and adaptable

Knowledge and skills to develop:

  • Advanced fault finding and repairs
  • Further Health and Safety training required for the role
  • Further product training as required
